4,965.62 ha at the eastern end of the Urban-Barry gold camp.
100% owned and road accessible year-round, 25–30 km east of the Windfall deposit. Gold concentrates near the fold closures of the Lac Fecteau Syncline. In 2026, hole FEC-26-026 on the syncline’s southern limb returned 7.44 g/t Au over 1.5 m, including 11.0 g/t Au over 0.85 m.
Illustrative photographStructure first.
The Fecteau Property lies in Buteux Township, in the Eeyou Istchee Baie-James territory of Quebec, about 120 km south of Chapais (NTS 32G03). It sits at the eastern end of the Urban-Barry gold camp: the Windfall deposit lies 25–30 km to the west, and the Barry and Gladiator deposits lie to the southwest and west.
The Urban-Barry belt forms part of the wider Abitibi Greenstone Belt, which has produced over 190 million ounces of gold1 since mining began in 1901.
Year-round access is by the Chapais–Barrette Sud (R1009) gravel logging road, which leaves Highway 113 east of Chapais and crosses the centre of the property; secondary logging roads reach most of the claim block. Relief is low, at about 400–475 m above sea level, with extensive swamp and glacial cover, so the low-lying areas are drilled in winter.
The 91 claims are on Category III lands, which are subject to First Nations hunting and trapping rights.

A tight syncline in the belt’s oldest block.
The property overlies the southeastern Urban-Barry Greenstone Belt, a belt about 135 km long and 4–20 km wide in the Abitibi Subprovince of the Superior Province. The southern half of the belt is divided into three fault-bounded blocks; Fecteau lies in the southernmost and oldest, underlain by the Fecteau Formation (about 2,791 Ma).
Most of the property is massive, pillowed and brecciated tholeiitic basalt and basaltic andesite, with gabbro sills, intermediate tuffs and felsic tuffs and rhyolite. An east–west felsic-to-intermediate volcanic sequence runs most of the length of the property. Thin graphitic mudstone and chert horizons within it carry pyrrhotite-pyrite lenses, which explain most of the EM and IP conductors on the property.
The structure is dominated by the Lac Fecteau Syncline, a tight fold in the west of the property that plunges east-southeast. East–west shear zones cut it, as do late NNE-trending faults related to the Grenville Front. The most important of these, the La Concession Fault, separates greenschist-facies rocks to the west from amphibolite-facies rocks to the east.

Gold in the folds, base metals in the exhalites.
The property hosts two styles of mineralization:
- Orogenic gold in east–west to east-northeast shear zones, quartz-vein and stockwork systems and felsic porphyry, concentrated near the fold closures.
- Distal VMS-style zinc-copper-silver in pyrrhotite-dominant exhalative horizons near the top of the felsic-intermediate sequence, as at the Lac Fecteau Nord-Est and Lac Pistolet Nord-Ouest showings. Alteration intensity and base-metal grades seen to date point to a setting distal to a vent.
Nine mineral showings are documented across the property.

The QP has not verified the results of the historic exploration and sampling on the Fecteau Property. Intervals are core lengths; true widths are not known. Historical exploration results have not been verified by a Qualified Person as defined under NI 43-101 and should not be relied upon. Additional sampling would be required to verify the data.

Downhole lengths; true widths are not known. NSR = no significant result. 2022–23: intervals as tabulated by O’Dowd (2023, Table 7.2), single samples or short groups; not re-composited to 2026 criteria.
Two programs, four target areas in 2026.
2026 program
Fourteen NQ holes totalling 2,616 m (FEC-26-018 to -031) were drilled between March and May 2026 by Multi Drilling. Technominex of Rouyn-Noranda supervised the drilling and logged and sampled the core. Core was assayed for gold by fire assay at AGAT Laboratories; copper assays on the sulphide intervals are pending.
- North Central / EM conductor (FEC-26-018 to -020): Northern VTEM conductors east of SOQUEM holes 88-21 and 88-22.
- Fecteau Est / syncline hinge (FEC-26-021, -022, -027 to -029): Structures west of the Lac Fecteau-Est showing and the syncline closure, drilled as -45°/-65° scissor pairs.
- SW / syncline southern limb (FEC-26-023 to -026): The southern limb of the syncline at the main reverse fault and lithological contacts.
- Buteux-Marceau (FEC-26-030, -031): The Buteux-Marceau gold showing.
The best results came from the southwest target on the syncline’s southern limb: 7.44 g/t Au over 1.5 m, including 11.0 g/t Au over 0.85 m, in FEC-26-026, and 5.16 g/t Au over 0.63 m in FEC-26-024.
2022–23 program
Fifteen holes totalling 5,833 m were drilled with two rigs between December 2022 and January 2023, testing targets generated by Opus One: three till/IP targets, two EM targets, the Lac Fecteau-Est gold showing and the eastern extension of the Porphyre gold showing.
Most of the VMS-style EM and IP targets were explained by semi-massive to massive pyrrhotite exhalite at or near felsic–mafic contacts. Base-metal values were anomalous but sub-economic; the best was at Lac Fecteau Nord-Est in FEC-22-09. At Lac Fecteau-Est, the gold targets returned isolated high values, including 14.91 g/t Au over 1.0 m in FEC-22-05. At Porphyre, FEC-22-14 intersected the shear zone again; it is regarded as the most traceable gold structure on the property.
